20-All loaded up- time for the second leg of my 720 mile journey. It was a LONG day.

26-O/s rear lower scoop-I fitted the engine cover release and cut the door area to look like panels were fitted. Note screws and my highly technical method of body measuring further back!

30-Petrol Cap mounting- Unlike some of the bodies supplied by parallel, mine did not have a precut filler cap hole. I had to cut my own.I found I needed to take away more material so had to build up the back to allow the aerocap to sit flush- arghhh..

32-Rear with bracing-I braced the body with steel prior to final fitment and fibreglassed it in.

33-Rear and bumper-Fitting the grills was surprisingly easy- with them it now starts to take shape.

34-N/s from rear- Coming together nicely.

42-Rear with SV lid fitted- Add and engine lid and I could nearly drive it....now if I only had an engine!

48-Closeup of bumperwork round light-Working on the bumper/body line. At one point I could put my hand between the body and under the light due to bumper sag at this point. I had to sand very thin then pull up and rebuild here. Arse.

49-New section on bumper-I had to cut out and replace the center between the lights due to warp. I built it back up with ally strip, P38 and 40! Its very strong now.

50-Front bumper mid mountings-Whilst glassing in the new center section I took the liberty of adding some locating bolts for the bumper. Nice and easy to find the right line now.

90-Front boot-My front boot is coming along nicely. Note the position of the fusebox and the BMW remote charging point I installed. Access for brake fluid and air con easy too. Tape marks spare wheel position.

53-Rear corner of bumper mounted-N/S rear of bumper showing fog light. The washer bottle also mounts in this gap against the side of the front boot.Pleanty of space here.

56-Front bumper rear- I made up brackets, and glassed them in, all ready to mount.
