EMBLEMS

You'd better sit down when it comes to pricing these. I always knew that the badges would be expensive but I must admit even I wasn't prepared for the cost of the front bootlid one........

"One hundred and thirty-five pounds. Thank you Sir."

Well, you can't really make one and you certainly can't take it off a donor car so you have no choice. In fact, at the time of writing none of the badges have been copied by Parallel so you have no option but to use genuine items. At the time Parallel were looking into getting replica items but there was no date for them and they weren't even sure if it would ever happen. One thing I will mention is that yes, there is only one 'Gandini' side badge. I thought it bizarre when I recieved my body and saw that there was only one recess (on the offside wheelarch) for it. I was just about to worry that I had a body that had been moulded wrong when I found out that Lambo has oddly only used a badge on one side. Weird.

I bought my badge set as a 'kit' so I'm not exactly sure how they are individually priced. However, some of the plastic bags had prices on them so I've manged to work out what I think are the relative prices but don't hold me to it.

'Diablo' orange/black rear grill badge £40
Front bootlid gold/black Lamborghini triangle £135.00
'Lamborghini' silver rear deck badge £45.00
'SV' orange/black rear grill badge £40.00
'Marcello Gandini' white/black side badge £16.00

Total £276.00.

On top of that you will need the four wheel centre caps as they have the Lamborghini bull emblem on them. They are £120 a set. They come as plastic wheel inserts and the center badges are separate, although they simply stick into the plastic carriers. The price quoted is what I paid for the 4 badges and the 4 centre carriers for the wheels.

I might add that if someone decides to nick any of my emblems I will promise ringside tickets to what will be the 'Vasectomy of the Century' to anyone who helps me catch the thieving scum.
